About Me
Perhaps because of growing up in a large family with no room for clutter, I came to appreciate things that are both functional and beautiful. A background in art, graphic design, and sign painting developed skills that have transferred to pottery forms and decoration.
Inspiration comes from nature, Art Nouveau and having grown up with books from the golden age of fairytale book illustrators.
It is occasionally tempting to think in terms of "what would sell?"; but it is much more motivating (and fun) to think instead, "What would be a joy to use?"
