Final Update on Travel Mug Experiment

Out of the four made, one was the correct size for the lid purchased on the internet.  However, even though it was a nice, tight fit, when I drank out of it, liquid dribbled out of the cup and all over my shirt.  I'm not pursuing this any further since I'm not sure how to correct the problem; and, as much as I would love a venti ceramic travel mug, I'm going to let those who make them, make them.  However, I like the daylily design and the new way of doing poppies.

Any feedback on the new, larger poppies?  I took an oval box decorated that way, but it didn't sell.  Another oval box, done the old way, did sell, and the customer expressed her preference for the smaller poppies.

    o happy clay!

I spent many hours as a child poring over fairy tales books and copying the illustrations.  And having grown up in a large family with no room for clutter, I came to appreciate things that were both functional and beautiful. My studio is in the middle of my organic garden.  Between gardening and working with clay, it seems like my hands are never clean!

Before ceramics, I spent twenty-five years in fine art and graphic art, including ten years as a sign painter. My work has won several awards, is in galleries across the country, and has been exhibited in national shows.
