Butter dish with a leaf handle is slab-built from red earthenware and finished with the majolica process, giving the decoration a watercolor look.  The edges are carefully compressed and rounded in the making process to aid in chip resistance.  Color will not fade or wear off.  Safe for food and dishwasher.  8.5"L x 5"W x 3"H.
