Instagram!
People are interested in my day-to-day in the studio, but sharing it (I thought) involved bringing up the expensive digital SLR on the tripod into a dusty area, photographing, washing the clay off my hands in between shots, uploading the photos to the computer, photoshopping to correct the lighting, uploading to FB or the like - a lot of work, never mind breaking up the flow of making the actual work.
But I can do a couple of shots with my phone when I stop for lunch, click on the link, say something about it... done. Astounding to me is that the first day I had, what, about 12 followers, then more as I posted. Hmm.
